Lets see the worst diff breakage yall have. Found these old pics from my 93 z71. It held up to the 35" boggers but not the 38" tsl. Sorry about the crappy quality.

I bet that didn't even make any noise either (that's what my customers used to say anyways). :D

I was driving a 74 camero on the hiway and the rear let loose just cruzing down the road. The pin came out the cover and went through the fuel tank up into the trunk. Was driving a 71 chevelle another time and right when I shifted from 1st to 2nd at 6500 rpms the trans exploded. And I mean it exploded like a stick a dynomite went off inside it.Fun stuff.

My friend Red shifted a TH400 from drive to park goin 65 on I-20 once. The case had a big enough hole to put a watermelon in.

This is the only photo I have of all the front and rear ends I blew up over the years.
This rear end was the first victim my 496.

Oh yeah, I don't have photo, but I have a video of a front end housing.

I wish I had pictures of it, years ago my buddy had a lifted 79 Bronco (460 c6 swap) on 35's with a 9" rear. The trans was always kind of funny, sometimes it would shift completely normal other times no matter what gear it was in , it acted like it was in neutral, and sometimes would suddenly "jump in" , sometimes violently :D.
He was lwaving my parents house one time and of course my other friends and I were egging him on to leave some ofhis bfg's onthe road. Well after pulling out of the driveway the trans started acting up, Chad not being the brightest or most patient person, floor boards the 460 and of course the tran then decides to engage at somewhere around 5-6k rpms :doah: :haha:. I have never to this day seen a rear explode in that manner, when the parts stopped flying, the rear d-shaft was hanging limp, ....still attached to the yoke and pinion and "some " of the third member still surrounding it.

My worst breaks are:
4- 35 spline Dana 70 rear shafts,
broken Dana 60 rear ring and pinion,
broken Dana 60 front ring and pinion,
broken stock Dana 60 front shaft, all 4 ears and axle joint,
broke a custom 4340 1.5" diameter Dana 60 stub shaft in 12 minutes,
broken Dana 60 inner C and inner shaft,
3 cracked TH400 cases,
blew up 2 quadratrac transfercases in 1 hour,
2 steering sector shafts
about 10 broken Dana 44 front shafts
more drivelines & u-joints then I can count
a pile of bent leafsprings
3 bent housings
4 bent wheels
connecting rod through a block
blew up a 12 bolt govlock and TH350 at the same time

Here is the most recent breakage:
