rear disc brakes

rear disc brakes, can it be done with stock parts? and if no what kits are available if any?

for what axel, give us more info. TSM sells brakets, you can find their add on the back of some auto magazines.
there are some members of this board who also make them, but again for what axel??

sorry bout the lack of info, its going to go on a 1989 GMC 10 bolt, with 30 spline axels and 3:42's if that matters

Why waste $ on upgrading a 10 bolt?Buy a 14 bolt or at least a 12 bolt and install the disc brakes.Not trying to put you down, just thinking of the future.10 bolts do not last that long with big tires and off roading.Is this for a street only truck?
