Sorry, I tried to search but did have much success.
Let's say I get some brackets to convert my crew cab's 14 bolt to rear disc. I want to keep my e-brake so I'm wanting to learn about the El Dorado calipers.
How do the trucks e-brake cables connect to the Caddy calipers? Special conversion cables?
Once this is all hooked up the e-brake will function as it originally did, right?
Do the calipers need periodic manual adjustment? Or do they magically self adjust?
Brackets and brake hoses are no big deal, I ran rear disc on my K10 for 15 years so I'm not new to the game but I've never had rear disc with an e-brake.
