I have been running rear discs on my 91 with a 14 bolt for about 8 months. I really dont think i can recommend them. Its been a huge PITA.
I started by just bolting everything together - hated the pedal, low and soft.
Tried the 102754 99 c3500 Master cylinder. Worked much better, but a high hard pedal. Then the left caliper siezed- replaced. Then the ABS dump valve failed, well just disconnected that.
Then the Vacuum booster failed, replaced that with a 87 c30- didnt change the pedal feel.
I never changed the prop valve it always locked up surprisingly even. I did take a few apart in the yards just to se what was inside them.
Now the Master cylinder is leaking!! its been 8 months everything was new!?

Sorry to rant.
Im going to replace the booster and the master AGAIN. My question is Does anyone have a magic combination that works and has good pedal feel without a low pedal with a 60/14 disc disc setup?

Fwiw, I have a 91 K5 with rear disc and I'm using the 99 C3500 master cylinder (scrapped the ABS stuff from the start) and I've got great pedal and it stops really good. I haven't been able to drive the truck a lot but for what mileage I do have I'm very pleased with the set up.

I have the caddy calipers on my 90, did not change anything else but did away with the abs, did have to bleed the snot out of it but it stops on a dime
