rear disc question

Does anyone know if the brackets on a rear disc 12 bolt would work on a 10 bolt???
I am getting a 12 bolt with bolt on disc brackets, But I don't want them because I like my parking brake, But a guy I work with has a 2wd low rider, with a 10 bolt, and I am wondering if they would fit. I know the disc's would be different because his is 5 lug.

The Caddy calipers for the 10/12 bolt disc conversions are, IIRC, cheaper and easier to come by than the Eldo ones used on 14bolts.

IIRC, they're the later Eldo, like 79-85, rear calipers. They're the smaller GM size, whatever that is.

I believe the brackets are the same, but I don't know for sure. (I even had a set, but sold 'em when I started getting into 14bff's =))

x2 for Dremu. I can find those 79-85 eldorado calipers around here and ran them on my 12 bolt. Worked fine.
