rear disc swap, rotor not aligning

The bracket had a little bit too much spring back when it was bent, so it pulled the caliper on that side. He said to take a piece of wood and a hammer and rap the ears of the bracket some. Thats what I did and it took care of it.

He said also the differences in brake pads could also cause that issue if the pad is slightly thicker than another brand, or if the bearings and races had been replaced, there are some slight differences and that could cause it.

All in all I am happy and the brackets are an excellent product!! Also can't beat the customer service!

For the record there are only four things I have ever seen that cause the problem cornfield was experiencing.

1. We bent the bracket wrong. Hey, we aint perfect. We ship alot of brake brackets and from time to time we have a problem at the shop and something like this gets by us. If you have this problem, don't hesitate to call us. I'll always make it right for you.

2. Inner races. I know of one specific race that will hold the hub/rotor assmebly out further but you should be able to tell something is wrong with it. The hub seal won't seat right and then the bearing is pinched to the race by the seal itself.

3. Pad thickness. Pretty self explanatory but something often overlooked.

4. Last but not least and the worst to trouble shoot is a stack up of tolerances. Bend tolerances, axle flange location, hub machining, rotor, race and bearings, caliper and pads themselves. Stack them all up in one direction and you can have run into alignment problems.
 
Looks nice and tidy all painted and clean. I'm going to do mine saturday. I bought the seals last night, SKF and look just like yours so I know those are right! Those things are HUGE! Looks like a VW rear main seal! I hope I hit no snags with mine, but I'm expecting it, story of my truck.
 
I know this is old but I have the same problem. I am going to tear it down and see if somehow the races aren't pushed in far enough on the inner bearing.
