Well Dustin (mr250twostroke) and i hit the wrecking yard this afternoon for some rear disc conversion parts for him. I've tried to tell you guys whenever i see someone looking to do this that the levers and brackets are easy to find if you get them from either a Caddy Seville or Fleetwood. I'm sure he'll post pics when he can. We found a 1978 Seville and grabbed all of the hardware, (levers, springs, brackets). All that's needed to mount this bracketry on the Eldo calipers is to drill and tap a 3/8" x 16 hole. These are plentiful at the yards around here. Without looking very far we found 2 cars that still had the brackets intact. The best part was $2.75 for everything and the $4.00 for us to both enter the Pick-N-Pull. So for $6.75 he has all the "HARD" to find bracketry.

Just thought i'd share this info with you guys.

Now you just gotta find a way to make them hold a truck on 40's... :D

Im taking baby steps, startin off w/37's. Scotts do hold perfectly and if mine dont ill simply rebuild my rig out of carbon fiber and titanium:haha::D.

You went all the way to Kali for E-brake brackets Dustin?? :haha:

Lemme know how those do with 37's. I've only heard the Caddy e-brakes aren't that great...but I've never tried em either. It's either those or a line lok for trail only. Prob is line-lok isn't exactly legal as a parking/emerg brake.

Came here to be somewhere miserable while turning the miserable 40:doah:.
Well, really to see my kids. No misery there:D.

Ive actually heard the same but Scott has his dialed in nicely and hasnt had any probs, im hoping for the same. The legal end is a factor as well since ill be driving to the trails untill Im forced to move up in tire size and buy a trailer.
Ill certainly let you know Rene:waytogo:.

Damn Dustin, i think that is the first mug shot of me posted on here ever.
