I did my whole conversion for about $200. That was with rotors, pads, hoses, brackets, etc. I can stop so much better than before. My rear disc brakes were lousy! With 36" IROK's, I can stop on a dime now. Not to mention they are so easy to service. I had to replace rear pads last night - piece of cake! Last week I had some idiot in front of me slam on their brakes at a yellow light, going 45 - talk about a brake check. I'm afraid if my brakes weren't so responsive, I'd have nailed that car and there wouldn't be much left of it! I did a little tech write-up on it, but it was before I knew Kert made brackets and I bought them from someone else. Anyway, you might find the article amusing: http://www.polariswebdesign.com/truckfiles/reardisc.htm .

I bought mine from a memeber here on the board, his site is www.DIY4X.com. Mine look like the top picture. I like his brackets because he uses solid steel spacer rings instead of pieces of pipe. He has a good price and is very helpful /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
