So i’m build a long bed K10, it has a 4500/205 and ORD springs. I ordered a rear driveshaft from a local shop explaining my needs. He said he has some slips with about 2.5-3” either way so about 5-6” total slip. Do you think it’s enough? i don’t exactly have a way to flex it out to take full droop/compression measurements. So i trusted the experienced driveshaft builders word on this. any input would be great!

Yep should be fine. I have enough travel upwards to stick a 37 into the wheel well on 5”+ lift, operates in about 1.5” slip at the shaft

ok great, that’s exactly what i was looking for, thanks!
The front is where all the travel is important.
definitely, once the truck is running and together i have to flex it, measure for bumps, limit straps, and see what i need for a front shaft set up.
