rear end?

Does the rear end look like it should be back a couple inches? The front looks good. I just now noticed this when i took the picture. I want to be able to get 33's under there. I just need to find some that arent too expensive as my lift was almost 600 shipped
 
Does the other side look like that also? If not, then it's time to check the spring center bolts. The rear end will move around when one snaps. :eek1:

Aha! Many rear blocks actually move the axle forward a bit, so you don't have to lengthen the driveshaft. But that pic makes it look like yours is really moved WAY forward.
 
One thought that comes to mind. Most lift blocks have the small hole for the center pin, and two large voids to the front and rear, to lighten the block. Is there any chance that your pins are stuck in the voids instead of the correct pin hole?
 
I cant tell by looking, but I will take it apart tomorrow after work and check it out. I remember installing the lift and not checking to see if it sat in the hole or the cut outs. Both sides are the same so it makes me wonder. Well, I suppose i will check it out tomorrow
 
the more you lift them the more thay pull to the front. thats why some of use move them back. looks good tho.:wink1:
 
I would lengthen my driveshaft but then id have to get a 6 inch, sawzall, and huge tires, different axles etc... :p: :D
 
no no lol, i unbolted the whole back, lowered the axle and up again making sure the holes matched up on the springs. i am still unsure if they were aligned to begin with
 
ok here is picture number 2. After i pretty much relifted the rear to make sure. I am pretty sure it was the block on the drivers side was not were it was suppose to be. It looks better now. What do you all think?
