rear ends

i bought and 86 k5/and want a new rear end to replace the 10 bolt. how much should i pay for a 12 -14 bolt corporate? i also found a crappy ford in an add cheap that says it has dana 60s/will these work in my k5?

Ford front ends have the diff on the opposite side from GM's.

You could probably make the Ford rear Dana 60 fit your truck, but most GM 14-bolts are direct bolt-ins for your K5. 14-bolt GM rears can be found for $50-300.

I got my 14 bolt, dana 44, np205 and an sm465 for $200..oh and I had to help him take the flatbed off the truck...

I paid $1k for a 77 chev 3/4 ton 4x4, with an sm465, np205, 14bolt ff, and a dana 44. It was a complete truck, but no title so i figured, why not tear it apart and feed it to my blazer.
