My 84 is a little rustier than I had originally thought. I was wondering if anyone makes a patch panel that runs the width of the rear floor at the tailgate and about 6-10" back in towards the back seat. I don't want to do alot of work, I'm just going to slice off the old floor back on decent metal and spot weld the new on then hit it with some bed coating.

I've checked Surplus Supply, Classic Industries, JC Whitney and can't find anything.

nope... only the 2 back halves... they run up about 1/2 way up the wheelwell.... tho you could certainly cut em down.... i have them new unused sitting in the corner of the garage, but shipping would kill that deal likely...

oh, and guaranteed the tailpan is toast if you have rust back there....

Well, I didn't want to put $150 into those two pans and only use that small back part of both. I'll figure something out if I can't find what I need. I've been trying to find a local blazer with that in decent shape where I could slice that off it and put it on mine.

i'd be willing to slice 10", 12" off them and send them to ya....... $50 plus the ride... prolly be like $20 shipping....

I appreciate it man, but that's kinda rich for what I'm going to do with this thing. I just want to keep the water out for now. I figure on just beating the body to pieces and finding a truck cab or better tub down the road. I'll keep it in mind though, thanks!
