Rear frame horns

Are the rear frame horns on a Suburban longer than the ones a Blazer? I bought a off road rear bumper from a blazer and the steel plates with the mounting holes are not long enough to reach the holes in the frame. If they are the same, then I assume the guy I bought it from cut off some of the rear frame horns.

I really don't know if they are ot not, but anything can be cut and welded and fabbed to make fit.
