I had posted this in the WTB section but it only had 40+ views and figured I might get more to see it. I need the two rear seat belt sections that get bolted to the floor on the Blazers. I don't care what color and even some from the M1009's are fine. My Blazer is a 84 getting a 86 interior. I cannot get a MA inspection once my restoration is done without those belts in place. (I could remove the rear seat but don't want to as I will be carrying passengers)

I also need to know where the grommet hole location is for the power window/lock harness is. There is a round grommet on the harness that goes through the pillar. I didn't know if the same hole the hinge bolt is accessed through is where this grommet goes. If so, can someone verify that. I've had this apart for so long I CRS! Also, the M1009 body doesn't have half the holes a civilian "loaded" model does.

Thanks in advance,
Ted

I'm replacing my back seat with 06' suburban seats, hopefully by next weekend. I may have everything you need? Let me know what you all want and if you're interested?

OK I'll see how the new seat install goes and then I shouldn't need them. Don't be afraid to pm me or post here to remind me. I'm hoping by next weekend there out:waytogo:

Not sure if you need any more detail than this? Pics are mostly of the drivers side, pass side is pretty much a mirror image. I certainly would not doubt if there is a dimple in the sheetmetal where the hole needs to be drilled.

Pass side, could not get the door open further as it's in the garage.

Wow,
That is exactly what I needed and better than I could hope I'd get! You are "Da Man"! I definitely have to drill the holes as there is nothing like that on the M1009. It makes more sense to me now as it would be kind of hard to put the door on and then snake the wire through the hole where the hinge bolt is accessed. Hope you don't mind but I might be asking more "location" questions from you in the future as this goes back together. Actually, already have one. Where does the power window/door lock relay mount? The harness is a separate harness that plugs into each door harness of course then has two wires that go to the fuse box. The relay is a silver box connected on that harness that I would assume must get located somewhere around the lower steering column to be close enough to the fuse box.

Thanks again for the pics and the measurements,
Ted

I just went out and poked my head under there, any pic I take will not be helpful. The harness appears to come through the panel and go up before the tape ends. It was hard to see but looks like a couple wires come down and plug right into the fuse block. I could not find a silver box unless it is way up under the dash, could possibly do some disassembly to find it, just not today.

My truck has the silver relays right in the fuse block, just the small rectangle things that plug right in. Although I think they are just to disconnect power to the system in case of a heavy draw.

I have Monday off and could potentially take a ride down there in the morning if you wanted to look at my truck for examples or measurements. You probably have work or whatever but the offer is there. Let me know, send me a PM.

Hi Brian,
Hey, that's a great offer to drive down tomorrow. Don't go killing yourself digging under the dash. I will be around most likely after 12:00 as I have to go see a customer in Cranston RI in the morning. If you wanted to come down that would be great. I don't really need the location of that relay right away as I'm no where near that point of reassembly but while it was on my mind I was asking. If you wanted to come down and see the progress so far you are more than welcome. Don't burn the fuel though if you don't have to if you know what I mean. If you'd like to see it we could have a beer or a coffee depending on your poison and shoot the ****. My work cell is the best to get in touch, 978-337-4617.
Thanks, Ted

I can't do this afternoon as I have to be home at a certain time to get my daughter off the bus. Some other time though, I would like to come down and check out the progress. Thanks for the invite and we can revisit this another day, maybe when you get closer to the wiring stuff.
