im looking to get rid of my 4 inch blocks int he rear. anyone knwo of a good way to acheive 4 or 5 inches of lift with good articulation? i was reading about longer springs and shackle flip, thats what im about right now. the 52's will be up front soon, so i want an even ride height. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif and im not afraid to /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grind.gif /forums/images/graemlins/weld.gif thnaks.

4" shackle flip for 4", 4" shackle flip plus 1" zero rates for 5" /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

I'll second that....

im leaning towards the shackle flip, but those things are expensive...what about the homade shackle flip with longer shackles? i believe the home made flip gives you 2.5 inches, and i will get longer shackles to level it with the front /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I rather spend the $185 for the ORD flip than trying to do the home made version. So that's what I did.

If you have good springs , a shackle flip rides nice and flexes real well. I got over 4 inches for sure, loaded up with trail box and spare shafts and full camping gear I sit level, unloaded on level ground the rear sits ever so slightly higher. It is so simple and effective, I planned ahead and before my lift and have never had a block on my truck /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

Sky-Manufacturing just came out with a GM shackle flip too. Maybe give them a call and see what it'll run ya /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
