I'm thinking about bobbing the rear of my 84' Suburban and I'm trying to figure out how much I want to chop. My goal is to make it look like it came this way from the "factory". Overall goal is to make it a little more "nimble" offroad and give it a different look....4 door blazer.

A few questions I have, any input is much appreciated:
- from rear lip of non trimmed fender to end of body is about 30" on a suburban.
- what is the total overhang of a blazer? (I'm guessing 20")
- in your opinion how much of a chop would look correct? I know this is subjective but I'm looking for ideas.
- other than the obvious (cutting, welding, painting) anything else I need to be aware of for this project?
- Suburban has rear A/C, I'd like to keep this if possible.

Thx
