Just put a 6 inch all spring lift on the truck, my question is why the heck does the bottom spring always go cockeyed. It usually happens after some nice wheelin. I torqued the u-bolts when I first put it on, then retorqued after about a month, I believe I torqued em to something like 220ft-lbs. The center pin isnt broken, I know this cuz I just pulled my grenaded 12 bolt out after some " Nice Wheelin".:D

I don't know why, but I have blaocks and an add a leaf it it has always been cockeyed. Can't seem to keep it straight.

my friends 07 ranger is cockeyed, both sides. He's always wondered about it, so one time after him bringing it up again, I walked into the garage and came back out with my BFH. Fixed it for now. :)

Because there's nothing BUT the u-bolts holding it from turning, the rest of the spring pack has that little clamp device holding them together.

Well just as soon as I posted that, I went back outside to finish installin the rear end and for ****s and giggles I grab the 9/16th wrench and the center pin was way loose on the right side, the same side that was cockeyed, not sure if that was the problem, well see

It wasn't, it'll still move, every vehicle i have ever owned with them they always move alittle, just use a big hammer to knock them back in, for that time anyways :D

Seen it on alot of others as well.

The center pin has absolutely nothing to do with what you're describing.

Loose u-bolts can do that, but my overload always did that even when they were tight. If your u-bolts are tight I wouldn't worry about it.
