I asked this in my build thread, but figured I'd make it more noticeable so maybe I can figure it out and keep moving forward... My passenger side floor has some serious cancer issues and I'm trying to figure out if anyone makes a patch for the area. I'm talking about the part of the floor just in front of the vertical that goes to the rear bed floor. It's mostly flat here with one indentation and runs forward into the elevated strip where the seat bolts down. I've seen the truck rear floor patches, but none that have said/look right for blazers. Any info is much appreciated as always. I've included a pic with the area I'm talking about circled in red.

I've seen an entire floor pan replacement, but not one with just that area. It may be time to practice making one from scratch.

I will definitely check over on the 67-72 board and see what's going on over there.

As for making my own, I wish I knew how or had the tools to make an entire panel like this. This is my first rodeo when it comes to bodywork etc, and I'm learning as I go. The majority of that section is plenty thick still, I may end up just patching in smaller areas. The only problem is the whole area needs to come out due to the PO installing new metal over rusty old metal. The outer areas on both sides have rusty chit left underneath them and I want to make sure there is NO rust left before I start putting all this back together. I don't want to go through this again on this truck for a LONG time!

Thanks for the info guys and I'll keep you posted on what ends up happening.

I meant that the flat sections can be replaced with the same thickness sheetmetal. I agree though that if you can find someone to cut out that piece for you it'd be the best option.

You know, I hadn't really been under it since I cut the rocker boxes out so I got under there today and just looked around. Turns out he had overlayed the outer floor patch onto the existing rear floor portion and welded it lap-joint style... The edge of the original floor was all crooked and rusty, but I was able to just cut straight along his weld and get both wrongs out of there so hopefully I can make it right... The drivers side rear floor has definitely been patched though. He must have bought a truck floor patch and cut it down. That side IS layed over the old floor. YAY.
