When I first purchased the Blazer the rear window was stuck down. I was able to jumper the tailgate latch switch or whatever you call it and now the window will roll up and down but it is not fixed correctly. I could barely get the plug off the switch for jumpering but how do you replace the actual switch and who even sells it?

Most people just remove the switch and connect the two wires together. It’s just a ‘dumbass’ switch so you don’t accidentally roll the window up while the gate is down and break the window. Don’t know of anyone who sells them.

You can unbolt the latch and pull the whole thing out the side of the tailgate. Probably have to detach the rod from the other end. You can disassemble the switch and polish the contacts. If you do that every few years it lasts *forever* or until you break the housing or snap off a tab.
