I am going to replace my rear seal soon but am not sure if it is a two piece or a one piece. The Jimmy is an 81 but, in 89 it got a new Goodwrench 350. Do you guys have any ideas????

If the block was a "new" engine from chevy in 89 it is most likely a one-piece rear main seal. If the heads came with the motor and they are the center bolt valve covers that will confirm that it is the newer style small block.
Chevy went to the one-piece seal and the center bolt valve covers the same year (1987)
