So it's my understanding the floor design changed in 1978, well I have a 77 and no rear seat or brackets. So I have a few questions. Was the rear seat folding in 1977? I have 2 rows of threaded bolt holes, 3 up front, 2 in the back. What sort of compatability do I have with the mounts and other years? The only other Blazer I've had access to was an 85 and it wasnt even close, the rear latch locks were recessed into the floor.

I havent looked and unsure of exact year but a fella offered me a complete late 70's seat.

I'm in the process of completely redoing the interior, all black. Have the headliner redone, painted the pillar caps, waiting on new carpet, door seals, tailgate/cap seals...yadda yadda. I'll post up some pics this weekend. Hopefully the man in green will be here since I've got 3 orders I'm waiting on.

Still no luck on a seat. Ive looked at 3 and they wouldnt work.

What year did they switch from a flat floor with 5 captured bolts to the new latch style with the 2 stryker plates recessed into the floor?

Seems I wasn't searching well enough, lol, but after I layed Dynamat and prepped for carpet, I see that you have to cut/weld in the latch plates to change from a 78+ seat. Well then. lol.
