I been looking at them here on the site and didnt notice ANY that use the factory front spring hangers. This is the method I am going to use, but am I missing something? Is there something about them that wont work? I want to hang them low so the bottom bolt hole is about 2" below the frame. Then using some 3x3x1/4 angle on the back of the hanger and bottom of the frame. Am I misleading myself, wont this work?

You mean that you are attaching the front spring's front hangers to your rear of the rear springs for the flip? Would seem to be okay, I fabbed mine only out of desire to make them heavier.

When I built mine I basically copied ORD's design and made gussets to support over the spring mount,

Yea I got lots of old chevys here. One day I was looking at a frame that someone had started to make a trailer out of, and thought that would be the easiest cheapest shackle flip. So I cut off the rivits, took the bolt out of the spring. Havent done anything else yet though. I seam to have a problem with being overwelmed with projects, and never seam to get much done on any one thing.

I'm in the process of fabbing my own heavy duty ones. 1/4 inch diamond plate and 3/8 barstock. Basically the ORD design with a personal twist
