Rear shackle length with 56"s

I see ORD is now offering their ubershackles... having seen what some of y'all have done to yours, I'm gonna go fab me up some some beefy ones.

However, I'm a bit stumped on the how-long thing .... almost seems like cart before the horse, cuz I gotta get the springs on the truck and the truck sitting on them at static height to determine where length of shackle ... but the shackle is part of that.

Aargh.

I'm also doing 52"s on the front and have to sort out shackle length up there, but that's been covered before.

So, any takers? Just go with the 6 or 7" that the ORD ones are (which is center-to-center, yes?) or ... ?

Depending on the hanger location, they work well. I am reversing my hangers and using them. Koldsimer moved his hangers back 1.5" and his angle is awesome. I like the ORDs as they are.
