I want to remove a few leafs from my rear spring pack. Instead of adding blocks or longer shackles to compensate for the different springpack thickness, I thought I might change the rear shackle mount. It already has some sort of block in there made up from chunks of spring welded together. I have been told that gm did this, but I think it looks like hell and I want them gone too. What is a good (read:easy) mount to replace it with? Will a 2wd rear spring/front mount work well for this?

Get a shackle flip from ORD. That should take care of it and net about 4" of lift if thats what you are looking for /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
