should it go right through the frame in the rear?? i was pressure washing my blazer and as doing the rear and noticed that the rear shocks` top mount was like a plate (bowl shaped(can think of a good comparison)), and i thought i remembered seeing someones setup, and thiers` went throught the frame itself??

yes, on trucks this is how its setup...right through the frame

hmm, i`ll have to get a picture of mine so you guys can see how it looks...
 
Blazers have a bracket above the frame that the shock attaches to.

Ok, just wanted to check if it was factory, and if it wasnt, why it was like that....
