Show me some pics of your solutions for rear speakers. I am thinking of some simple boxes behind the front seat on the wheel well curvature..... this was a very bone stock k5 so it had no rear panels and I am leaning towards just building some thin ones that mount to the body versus to the rail... if that makes sense....

I have a couple designs in mind but curious what others have done. Fronts will likely just be kick panels from Q Logic or something for now.... eventually they will get into the door but going to go for simplicity and functionality here at the start....

Someone on here has a template for the rear panels. Ask in the lounge or garage where there's more traffic and I'm sure someone can help. My panels fell apart when I took them out so I was going to make new ones out of 1/2" plywood and cover them w/ bedliner to make them completely weatherproof. If you use something that rigid, you can mount your speakers behind the panels for a cleaner look.

Otherwise, look for small single speaker boxes like these and you can mount them facing forward on the angled part of the rear wheel tub.

My truck came w/ 6x9 mounted that way and they worked OK. I even kept them after I put in a big custom system. I always wanted to swap them out for speakers mounted in the panels, though, just for the cleaner look.
