Rear speaker corner brackets

My 84 K2500 did not come with rear speakers. I have a set of 6x9s (out of My K5) I'm going to use. Should I find a old set of OEM behind seat corner brackets to install? Will they accommodate the aftermarket 6x9s?

over at 67-72forum there is a guy making sheet metal speaker mounts for the lower cab corners. I think he does the 67-72 body style and squares. Cover it with sound deadener of your choice and mount. Good alternative to the stock position. And I think the stock speaker was some 4x10 odd ball size
