I know, dumb question....

Removed the rear springs to do zero rates and shackle flip.

The SECOND to the top leaf spring has one side that wraps approx half way around the spring eye. The other side stops short of the spring eye, like a normal leaf.

Which is the front or back?

does that look like the top picture spring is Broken/cracked or am I seeing things. look at the second leaf.

Took a look again at the leaf in question, no it is just the picture angle. There is some kind of indent or something right where the 3rd leaf from the top ends. There is also a leaf pack shim-thingy in between the leaves.

So does the leaf that wraps around the eye give it a bit more flex...or does it do anything....what's the use of it???

thanks for the replies.

It helps prevent (or at least minimize) axlewrap.
