I need some education on rear springs for my 91 cc dually. Apparently I need new ones and the quote installed was over 1000.? I need the most capacity i can get as there is a @3500# camper on the back. Is there a vendor that I can get to ship to me and what should I be looking for? Thanks Scott

If it doesn't sag unloaded at ride height I'd leave the leaves and add some air bags. You'll keep a decent ride while unloaded but be able to level the truck when your camper is in the bed.

You can install them in an afternoon and be done.

The camper is always on and the leaves are broken. It also has timbrens on it now and they are basically sitting on them! Thanks for the info I am contact with them now.

You can get them a lot cheaper than that. Check here: http://www.stengelbros.com/

my info is for others searching later and some is direct for you needs as i see you have broken leafs now.

x2 on who i would send you to for local and shipping.

22-617 hd packs is 4600 each and also get over load helper 22-467 extra 1k per side on top added to hit the extra hangers on the frame if you have them.

and 1000 is about right for new ubolts / spring eye bolts / shackles and labor to install. the springs and parts alone will be 750-800 on a good day. i just priced a set few months ago . i have a pair and guy wanted to buy them i said let me check and he offered 250 max for the pair i said HELL NO !

but as said if you wana do best ride and extra with springs now and no major need to change them i would do a bag kit in the rear with a electric comp kit to set ride hight as needed on truck. also i like to set left/right bag seperate to adjust for off set loads.

here is kit. if drw make sure you check for clearence. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FIP-2040/ 3200-5k more capacity with kit. i have installed a lot of these and never a unghappy customer. low end comp with seperate side control. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FIP-2178/
