For an '87 K5. Anyone know a good place to find one for a decent price? LMC Truck does not carry them.

Thanks!

There are REBUILT ones all over EBay, but to find a new\ unused one is almost impossible from what I've seen.

I got one from O'Reilys for $60 I think...there is a core charge as well.
Funny thing, same motor is used in all '69-'72 G-body wagon rear windows. Chevelles, LeMans etc...you might find a NOS out there.

Mines a NAPA. I was told only one company is rebuilding and supplying them. So just look for the best price out there.

Then remove the regulator and clean everything.

Mine came in a Cardone-A1 box or whatever they call themselves...pretty sure they are the only game in town on these.
And x2 on cleaning & greasing the regulator. Do not use any lithium or silicon spray lube. Stuff is mud in few months.
What I need to find is the regulator rollers if anybody has a lead.
They are smaller than the door window rollers

Thank you, All! I am in the process of replacing all the guts for this tailgate assembly and the motor was a bit of a snag. The cheapest OEM unit I found was like $150, which seemed a bit much. Thank you for the suggestions!
