OK the post I can't find but about a week ago some one asked about fixing their rear view mirror. I found some stuff called Rearview Mirror Adhesive Kit made by 20/20 rearview CIPA Mirrors in Port Huron, Mich. It has two plastic mounts (i shaved a little off the Chevy lip) and glue. Here is the kicker it is a silicone glue! I put it on mine and waited 24 hours to put mirror on. It has held just fine for the last week and it has been hot and lotsa rain.
