Rear wheel hop from Hell need Help???????

Ok I have done search's and im more confused now then when i started, Ok here is what i have and I need a solution for it.

Stock rear 87 short box springs, with a diy4x shackle flip with 6 inch shackles. It rides pretty Crappy with them.

Now different routes to go:

Go to junk yard and get newer longer springs and swap the shackle brackets to the opp. side's, should they be 1/2 or 3/4 ton springs??

Leave springs and build some sort of anti axle wrap bar???

buy after market springs and hope for the best.

Longer springs will wrap worse.

Aftermarket springs might be a little better but IMO an anti-wrap bar is your best bet (remember to weld your axle tubes to the center section before you install an anti-wrap bar).

yeah longer springs will wrap worse than what you have now. and i have some hop and i built some anti wrap bars and helps alot. i'm changing them up some because it limits flex but it was a good first try to fix the wrap

Do you have lift blocks as well? if so take those out because i have the same setup as you plus 4 inch blocks and i get axle hop when starting off from say a stop light, especially when i get on it.

What's the shackle angle look like? Your comment that it doesn't ride well with a shackleflip sounds a little counterintuitive... maybe the shackle angle is all jacked-up??

If you like the way it perfomrs now just put an anti wrap bar on it and call it done. No sense in changing it all up if you like how it works now.

If go to this site and u can see the angle of the shackle's I dont think they are bad but im no pro.
