Rear wheel seal lip seal direction.

Installing a new rear wheel seal and now questioning myself. Which way does the lip seal face? I’m thinking the cavity side towards the wheel bearings and the smooth side outwards.

Thinking this goes towards wheel bearings.

the largest lip goes toward the grease, if there is a garter spring on the seal that is the grease side.
