Who's used rear window graphics? I'm thinking of getting the American flag and proudly let it fly in the rear window of the K-5. Plus and minus are what I'm Looking for. Just to let you all know that I don't have a rear view mirror in the K-5, just the side mirrors since that is what I'm use to using.....

Yah SweetK30, I saw that pic in the member pic's. That is what Im thinking about pitting on my K-5. More pic's would be great. Any problems with it?

rjfguitar, it's hard to see anything but the bowtie and a little bit of the flames that are around it. But my rear window is scratched.

I think it's a cool idea. :thumb:

I just wonder if it will get all fracked up rolling the window up and down.

i had the confederate flag one on my old truck, but some little focker shot it with a bb gun and it shatterd  , ill see if i can find a pic

wow how'd they tint that? and does it look the same from the inside?
It's 3 layers of film. First the red flames, chrome outline with bowtie, and 5% sheet over the top. No, it looks diferent from the inside. You can just see the outline of it, thats all. It's pretty much one way viewing.

My rear window was scratched terribly and they could definantly not tint on that. I ordered a brand new back window, windshield, and a full tint job.....I got out of the tint shop $700 later, but that included the glass and all new weather stripping around the glass on every window.

I would suggest tinting all your windows except the windshield. I noticed a big difference in the temperature inside during the summer. I would get that terrible sun and heat right on my face and shoulder but after the tint it was just enough to block that heat you can feel coming through the glass, combined with my A/C it was pretty nice inside on hot days.

I went 5% on the top windows and 35% on the roll ups and wing windows.

That is one of my concerns, too. I'm planing on replacing the inner and outer rubber strip at the same time that I add the stuff on it. hopefully someone else has had some experence with one on a K-5! Anyone?

here you go. first is from cab threw glass. and the rest are outside looking in. and it goes on like a big sticker. best part is thay cant see you except when the light is coming from the frt of truck , but all thay see is shadows. and you can see out nice except when wet. then its blurry

Be sure to check your local laws if your truck has to pass an inspection, it may not with the rear window graphics. I work at a shop that does state inspections and they will not pass in Mississippi.

Yah rjfguitar, I'm tinting the front windows, Limo (35% on windshield)! The Shell windows are OEM privacy glass.

Thanks sweetk30, those show off the shades well.

Gone Hunting, there are tons of people in AZ running around with them in there rear window. some have all their windows done with them.

In California it is a PHELONY to tint the windshield. I wouldn't do it, even if someone paid to have it done for me. As far as the front roll ups around here you would probably get a fix it ticket for it within a couple of weeks. I wanted dark too but went with 35% because I knew I would have to peel the 5% back off anyway and eventually go 35 to be legal...so I just skipped the first part. :) Afterwards I was happy with the 35% darkness anyway.
