Rear Window Key switch thingy

Ya i dont know what its called but you stick the key in and turn, the window moves. That thing

mine dont work. does anybody know what this piece is called? I looked through my lmc catalog but i couldnt find anything

Did you take the window apart and make sure the wiring is in good shape? Could be bad wiring and not the switch.

You can also "rebuild" the switch if internally its still in good shape. Mine was just a bit corroded, cleaned the contacts and it worked again.

maybe mine needs to be cleaned up think that maybe what i do tomorrow.

You know what sucks ? On most of our trucks , you have to have a fit trying to get to the screws . I had to unbolt my glass , slide it out , unbolt the mechanism , just to get to the bolts I could see but couldn't get a flexible nutdriver on .
