Have a power rear window that is weak at best. Yes I know they all pretty much suck. Since the General no longer offers this motor new what is the solution to correcting this problem. Have tried 3 different rebuilt motors and none of them have the power to raise the window all the way. All hardware in window is new. /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

How are the felts in the hardtop and inside the tailgate? Is it dirty? What about the inner/outer rubber that the window rubs against? Is it hard or dried out? You say all the hardware is new, but did you clean out the window track and regrease it? You can also check the wire connections at the motor/keyswitch/safety switch to see if they're corroded. If they are clean them up and give them a light coat of dielectric grease. Same goes with the wiring. Check it with a ohmmeter to see how much resistance there is (internal corrosion) and replace if it's more than an ohm or two.
