Does anyone know where I can buy a new or used rear window motor? Mine is stuck shut and I cannot open the tail gate which is a royal pain in the ass. LMC truck parts doesn't have them and I have looked every where else with no luck. Also is there any other things besides the motor that could be causing it not to go down? Thanks

Alex

Pop the inspection plate, remove the cable from the motor, and turn it with a drill to lower the window.

I'm not sure if the safety switch on the passenger side will keep the window from going down, or if it only works to keep the window from going up.

The safty switch may be the cause of the problem also, and it has to do with the motor, so you can still run it up and down with a drill. The dealer will have any parts you need but make sure they look it up under the right model blazer, (the r1500 doesn't have a power rear window).

Thanks for the input, I will tear this apart as soon as I have the time. Where is this safety switch located?
