The rear electric tailgate window goes down perfectly fine but will not come move upward. I replaced the switch but no luck. Appreciate any helpfull gouge anyone can offer. Thanks

Check the rollers in the window tracks at the bottom of the window. When going down, the weight of the window helps, but when lifting, flat spots on those rollers can bind preventing rolling the window up. I have one roller that is flat spotted, so I have to lift my window to roll it up.

Also, lube the gears, and make sure you don't have a bad gear that is binding up.

check the cable drive between the motor and actuator to see if there is any tension there.

Neither the cab nor tailgate key switch allows it to go up?

Which switch did you replace? If neither of the above work, and you replaced the key switch, I'd suspect the switch on the drivers side latch of the tailgate of failure.

You can bypass it (just disconnect the connector and jumper the two wires to test) but you have to make sure that anyone who drives the truck understands that the window will then go up with the tailgate down, or the tailgate not all the way latched, which will break the window.
