Rear window removal

Hi guys, I need to put new seals in my rear window in a 86 k5 blazer. While I'm at it I'm swapping the window itself for a better replacement that i got from another blazer.
How exactly does the window come out? I have the inspection cover off the tailgate, and I see the 4 bolts that attach the window "frame" to the arms that raise and lower the window. After I remove these 4 bolts, what else needs to be done so that the window will pull out?
Also any tips for removal and installation of the new seals? It may look a lot easier once the window is out.

ive messed around with mine <88 K5> a few times. when i did it i used a flat head to pop up the seals, unsrewed the 4 bolts and slide it up. ive also replaced the metal bracket thats attached to the glass it self with a special weather strip adheseve.

So the seals do have to come off before the window can come out? If so that means the window has to be back in before i put the new seals on. There must be a trick to it because it sure looks like a pain to replace the seals with the window in there? I was hoping I could replace them when the window was out.

I had to replace the seals once the window was back in place. Otherwise, you the metal track that holds the bottom of the window in place will tear up the seals.

And, yes....it's a pain in the ass to put the new seals in with the window already there. I didn't even replace the interior seal and I just placed felt there because it was such a PITA.

your talking about the top inner and outer seals where the window meets the tailgate....right? i dont remember it being to difficult,

Yes those seals. Just got them switched. A couple of things, the outer seals leaked enough the clips were somewhat rusted on, but they came out just not without a fight.. The used seal I put back in was not flexible like a new seal would be and it took some time, and was hard to get smooth. I could see where a new seal wouldn't be too bad to install with the window in there.
Heres a pic of my junk. The white blazer is the interior parts donor for the black one.
Thanks for the info guys, I wasn't sure if the window came out without the seals or not.
