Rear window troubles

After having the top off and the rear window down for the last couple weeks, I put the top back on to go camping. I go to roll the window up and it would not do anything, no click, no draw on the battery, nothing. However, if I try to roll down the already rolled down window the motor clicks and torques the cable in an attempt to continue rolling it down. This condition exists at both the key switch and the cab switch. I took the gate apart and was able to roll up the window with a drill. So I ask you all, what causes a motor to be able to roll down a power rear window like normal but make it not get any power to roll it back up? Based on other posts it sounds like a relay, but I would like a second opinion. Where is this relay and where is a good place to get one?

mine did that one time

I had to take the cover off the tailgate, undo the wiring harness for the motor, and take 2 jumpers and swap polarity on the motor, then close the gate back and turn the key like I was going to lower the window more. Once I got raised up a little bit, I was able to hook the harness back up correctly and its worked OK ever since.

I think I just rolled it down too far, and the limit switch wasn't letting it come back up
