The rear window, does not come up but it will go down.
i can disconect the cable, and manually make it go up.
but the motor will not push the window up. but it is able to pull it down.
do i need a new motor.? or What the hells going on?

if there is power and ground at the motor when you are pushing up, then yes it sounds like it is shot.

Burb or K5? Not sure on a K5, but on a Burb the motor is self-grounded. There is a power wire for up and one for down, so it could just be a bad wire. Check the connectors where the harness comes out of the tailgate for corrosion. There is also a safety switch that will keep the window from going up. That can just be unplugged and bypassed.

check safety switch on drivers side of tailgate. If it is bad window can go down but not up. window has to be down for gate to open. switch is there so you dont put window up and try to close gate.

On my k-5, I pulled the motor out, took one end plate off, and loosened the other.
Sprayed brake cleaner through, let dry. Greased both end bearings,
and soaked armature with W.D.40. Reassembled, not like new,
but way better than before. is faster in summer.
I also lubed drive cable and tracks.

( I am assuming motor is trying to move window )

This has to be a Blazer, Burb's didn't use the cable system to my knowledge. This is going to be the safety switch. Bypass the switch on the latch mechanism by jumpering the connector, and then see if the window goes up.
