rear window\'s interchangeable?

My dad shattered his rear window in his 85 last night. He was wondering if the one from his 77 would fit. The 85 is power and the 77 is manual. Thanks!

It's a good idea to see if you also need to replace the metal channel that the bottom of the window sits in. They tend to rust out and the window falls down inside the tailgate. The part wasn't too expensive the last time I bought one from the dealer.

Hey I have a clear-glass one for my '87 that I don't use and have been saving in case mine breaks, I'd be willing to part with it cheap if you want. I think it just needs a good cleaning.
