i`m looking for some ideas on making a rear roll bar/cage type thing to fit in my blazer with the cap still on......i want to make it look like the one out of the pick ups and in the cargo area section of it i want to put like an X there and use that to ratchet down my spare.....now i`m planning on making this out of some pvc pipe....am i stupid for doing this?...also can you post pics so i can get a general idea?

TIA

made out of PVC or exhause pipe, it'd be nothing more than decoration. There'd be no structural or safety capacity at all.

For the record, I think someone makes a prefabed kit for a full cage, that all you need to do is weld together.
