when i turn to the right, it not necessarily grinds, but vibrates, clanks...ect

when i turn to the right it just feel really tight

coming out of turns, it feels almost like the rear end is steering along with the front, really tight or something hard to explain

but they just put in this rear, its all new

should it be doing this? like "break in" time?

First thing I would do is check all the U clamps. If they are loose it'll feel real weird. If they're ok then take it back to who ever did it and tell them of your concerns over it. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Did they put in a locker or limited slip? When the truck pushes out of a turn (steering tight) it indicates the rear is locked together. Just wondering what you have in there /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

Does it make any difference whether you coast through the turn or are applying some power?

when coasting i seem to have more control
at low speeds it will grind, parking lot speed

but if i give it gas its like double acceleration, really feels tight

it had a posi, so i assume they put a posi back...i know it was a stocker and the new one is an eaton
