For all sorts of reasons ive come to consider moving this fine rig onto someone who has the time and money to bring it back to full glory. Ive had this for several decades and served me well but a flattened cam in the original motor several years ago has led me to where i am.

With that said i need to get some semblance of value if im to consider parting ways. Ive had offers of $2500-$3000 but ill just let it collect dust for that kind of money. What im looking for is a realistic value on it as it sits. I think the top and tires alone are worth the $2500 thats been offered and well 2-3K isnt enough to help get where i want to go.

Short list of condition:
1) overall good condition, some rust in usual places but have factory sheetmetal replacements for rocker and both doors
2) factory hardtop in great condition
3) near new 31 inch BFG mud terrain
4) front and rear factory roll bars
5) posi rear with spare front axle with posi installed
6) good front buckets and center console
7) rear seat
8) rebuilt transfer case
9) rebuilt trans th350
10) rebuilt engine with quality parts, 10:1 pistons, good rv style cam, .202 heads with screw in studs, guide plates and roller rockers, air gap intake, edelbrock carb, Dart tall plain cast valve covers etc
11) factory gas tank skid plate
12) winch mount reciever welded into frame in front so winch can be used front or back
13) ORD 4in shackleflip and front springs come with but not installed

this will come with lots of spare parts not listed and i know pics may be helpfull and ill try and add them at some point. I am looking for some numbers here.....if its just a 2-3K rig then i guess it will wait until i get rich and famous but ive got my eye on some other toys at this point and could use the space in the shop

So, whats the consensus on value??????

Full Convertible top K5's have solid value normally. But here's the thing, the first line of your condition lists rust. That isn't uncommon on them. But just glossing it over with the word "usual" isn't going to help to get a value on it. Rust repair is one of the most expensive repairs any owner could take on even if one is doing it themselves. You need to be honest with yourself on what you consider normal. I had a '75 Blazer, I had all the "usual" rust too. Let's see, quarters, rockers, front fenders, and tailgate. Those are all part of the usual list. My floors were perfect but the rocker boxes underneath were completely rotted. No way could I have pulled $3,000 for mine in the condition it was in.

Depending on the rust it could be a 3-4k truck or 7-8k.

Zoo Mad I get what your saying...Im a mechanic not a body guy so all cancer is voodoo to me and get the time and money involved. The motor alone has 3k or so in it but maybe a part out on the stockpile of parts and the blazer would be better as often the parts are worth more than the sum of the parts. I have several other hobbies and have a good handle on those markets but this is one i have not traded in before and therefore am out of touch on values

Ill work on some pics tonight to help out here, thanks for the input

IMHO if you have the time and patience, you will probably get more money in the end if you sell the parts. I hate to say that, because these trucks are getting harder and harder to find in driveable condition for a decent price. But a 75 in my area in "decent/fair" condition will bring about $5K even with the upgraded parts you listed. fully restored, ive seen them go for 20K+. Driver quality for 10-15.

Impossible without pictures.

I know someone mentioned it but we went a whole week without this gem....

If I walked in off the street and saw that I’d offer up $3-5k. Once it gets some of that shiz and layers of dirt off of it, maybe you could get a bit more $..possibly 7k-ish?

That Rocker is rough and a nice dent on the passenger door. But honestly there is so much going on around and on the truck it’s hard to really give it a solid figure. Glass looks good, interior is exceptable, paint appears to have potential to shine again.

Others here have a more keen eye than me so, we’ll see.

Yeah, I'd say "as is/where is = $5K-7K

Take it out and spend some time cleaning the paint and glass and you might find someone willing to pay $8-10

Has a lot of the original parts, but has a lot of rust work to be done, just that can be seen in those photos. That said, 73-75's are getting rarer. Depends on what the buy wants to do with it. If I was restoring it, I'd have to be in it no more than $6000, I'd like to get it for $5500. EVERYTHING has to be redone or refurbished.
If I just wanted to customize it to mud or something, I'd probably go $6,500 not caring about the originality of it or those factory parts.
In better than showroom condition those go for about $30,000 maybe a little more.
It would take at least $25000 to get it there.

Personally, I would NOT part it out, but that's my opinion. Find the person who really, really wants a true 73-75 and is willing to pony up for it. Do not throw away a single part.

Still needs a lot of work, but there is enough to work with. No way would I take $3000, but if you really need the cash, $5000 to $5500 is lowest I would go. That's only because it is a 1975 for me.

I am biased, of course, so maybe some others will have some more rational opinions.

For what it is worth...Hagerty values a 1975 Blazer in "FAIR" condition at $7500
FAIR is defined as [daily drivers, with flaws visible to the naked eye. The chrome might have pitting or scratches, the windshield might be chipped. Paintwork is imperfect, and perhaps the body has a minor dent. Split seams or a cracked dash, where applicable, might be present. No major parts are missing, but the wheels could differ from the originals, or other non- stock additions might be present. ]
