11/11 6PM UPDATE

Just got off the phone with his aunt, his mom wasnt there.

Eddie was on the road near Longwood College about 4 am Sunday. He hit a deer. He was Medflighted to MCV in Richmond. As of right now he is on and off a respirator. She said they put a trache in today so tommorow he will be back on the respirator. They had to do major surgery to his right leg and there was a fear of muscle death. She said the doctors think they got that taken care of and will go back on Thursday to close that up. He is still in ICU. She said once he's off the respirator then he will get his own room. Hopefully Ill get to go see him this weekend when Im home from school. Thats about all I know right now. Hopefully Ill get more info when his mom replies to my email.

hit a deer with a k5 and he's in icu? Im thinkin he was drivin a car or didnt have his seat belt on. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Just got a short email from his mom.

Eddie is improving, they postponed surgery until tomorrow am. He'll have another on thursday. It would be great if you could visit him. I'll keep you posted about where and how he is

if you go see him make sure he knows we are all praying and pulling for him. maybe send his mom a link to this thread so she can see all the support as well. I'm sure she could also use some support /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
