Hey guys!

The little stepper I picked up yesterday has a 2 barrel intake on it. Is it worth my time to put the carb the PO tore apart back together, or should I just go and get a 4 barrel intake for the thing? I'd need a new aircleaner, and carb base plate gasket, and steel fuel line and manifold to go with the 4 barrel. I've got a q-jet that I used to run on my 80 back when it was still carbed. But, I haven't used it in a good 13 - 14 months or so. Will it need a rebuild already? Or should I be ok just bolting her on and going?

I'd use the q-jet , and I'd take the top off and clean her up too .

I mothballed my old one , partially disassembled , in my case it was fine after 3 years .
