rebuilding a TH400-rebuild kits

Good evening all,

So I'm putting a TH400 in the blazer along with a 454. This will be pretty much a stock 454. I'm looking at two suppliers, and have spent the weekend reading and re-reading. I will be doing this myself...first one but I feel like a can do it. I have gotten both the ATSG manual and Haynes rebuild book.

So the rebuild kits I'm looking at are

A couple of the mods will be a auto/manual valve body from TCI, and maybe the dual feed mod.
So the question from those that have gone before me, recommendations on the above or what did you use?

I was looking at them, but it appeared they only do complete transmissions. I like doing, as much as I can to my rig, this way I only have myself to blame-but I also learn on the way.
