Hey... I just came across this website:

http://www.technicalvideos.com

I was just wondering if anybody had tried any of their product (or similar) and whether they felt it was worth it. I'd rather watch it on video than see it in still pictures. Was thinking of getting their differential rebuild DVD.

They also have DVDs for the 700R4 and my NP208 transfer case. I need one for the transfer case. I'd rather rebuild and learn how to remove/reinstall the t-case rather than buy a used one of unknown origin and just learn to swap only.

What do you all think?

Yep, rebuilt both my TH350 and NP203 with the technical videos. Good stuff.

Good to know... I think I'll go ahead and order the diff DVD...I'll get the t-case soon.

I did order the differential DVD... I'll post a review once I watch it, and attempt the methods used in it.

Hey Jon did you ever get this worked out? I'm thinking about picking up one of the 700R4 rebuild DVDs.

you guys might want to check this site out as well. If you don't want to buy the videos you can rent them. Kinda like Netflix. I have used them and have never had any problems. Lots of stuff up there for automotive and other stuff as well.

I successfully rebuilt the 10-bolt using the vids. They were clear and informative.

Unfortunately, as I ran out of time, money and a place to work on the truck, I've yet to test it, so I don't know how successful I actually was... :doah:

I feel comfortable with it though. :)

Im thinking about buying the paul zank video on the 700r4. 4wheel and offroad did a piece on it a while ago...heres the link....

I cant see paying someone to rebuild it for me...prices around here runs about $1000. Ill give it a try eventually, when extra time and money comes back around.

I do plan on getting the 700R4 video as well as a t-case vid.

I'll rebuilt my old NP208 and get a 700R4 to build. That way I'll have spares sitting around if needed, plus learn something out of the deal. :)
