Rebuilding kingpins!!!

    The lower cap on the king pin was frozen stuck.So I got a chisel and banged it down from the top till it popped out.My question is I dented the top part of of the bottom cap.The very top not where the bearing sits just the top flat part now will that affect anything.:confused: Thanks:D

    It shouldn't, as long as the lower cap is not bent, and will seat flush, so it will seal in the grease, and keep out the dirt.
